On Tuesday morning, the Department of Foreigners of the Mijas Town Hall presented its special Christmas programme, open to everyone, which includes the second International Christmas Show. As the councillor responsible for the area, Arancha López (Cs), said, "it is a programme in which both Spanish residents and foreign residents of any nationality can participate. They will see some of their traditions reflected in these events, which will take place during the month of December".

The Department offers numerous activities, among which we find the solidarity stands in La Cala, the Christmas show 'Nutcracker' staged by the Fama academy, the Christmas fair organised by the PAD association, a new route with Mijas Secrets and the second International Christmas Show, which will take place on Wednesday, 14th of December, at 18:00 hours at the Las Lagunas Theatre. This event brings novelties, as explained by Katja Thirion from the Foreigners Department, "after the end of the show we will invite the audience to a cocktail and, in addition, we will facilitate access to the theatre by providing two free buses that will bring them to and from the event. There will be one for La Cala and one for Mijas Pueblo". The department asks attendees to reserve a seat in advance by emailing the Foreigners Area at: frd@mijas.es. 

In regard to the new Mijas Secrets route, Laura Córdoba, also from the Foreigners Department, stated that "there will be a workshop lasting from 1 to 2 hours, in which participants will create a Christmas gift and later enjoy a tasting of wine and traditional Christmas sweets. It is necessary to book in advance for this activity, which will take place on the 13th of December at 17:00 hours, by emailing mijassecrets@gmail.com".
